Gravesend Travel started because the coach holidays our families were going on weren’t built for them. Long days with nowhere to eat. Tour leaders who didn’t speak the language. Hotels in industrial parks. We thought we could do better. Nine years and 12,000 travellers later, we still think that.
Started in 2017. Still family-run.
Gravesend Travel was founded by a family who’d spent 20 years organising coach trips for their local community in Kent — temple visits, summer day trips to the coast, the occasional Europe holiday. Word spread. People kept asking when the next one was. In 2017 we made it official.
Today we run roughly 40 departures a year — a mix of European coach holidays, UK day trips and longer UK holidays. Most of our travellers are British Indian families from Kent, South-East London and Essex. Many have travelled with us 3, 4, 5 times.

Indian meals daily
Hot Indian dinner every evening, packed lunches on travel days. No hunting for restaurants in countries where nobody speaks English.
English-speaking tour manager
Every Europe departure has a tour manager on the coach for the entire trip. Speaks English and Hindi.
Visa support included
We help with Schengen and UK visa paperwork. Our office handles the appointment booking and document checks.
